A Christmas Story

Every year there is a great holiday. It’s Christmas!!!! You see white snow on all of the tall evergreens. Children are excited to get presents. Santa Clause at the mall! That’s what all of the kids want to hear. Stockings hung on glowing fireplaces. One, for everyone in the family. People go to church and sing songs of cheer. Trees in houses are decorated with ordaments, and lights. They glow in the dark room. Jolly Old St. Nick, comes down the chimney at night, the young ones are in bed, sleeping. Through town Carolers are caroling. Their voice travels around every corner.

Button Description Story

Lost, and Found
Hi my name is Abigal. I am 60 years old can’t you see why? I am vintage, nothing like today. My skin is two different colors. One is shiny, and the color of the sky, and the other is dark, and looks like bark from a tree. I belonged to a loving little girl. She was the daughter of the Queen. I belonged to her doll Mary. Mary was a Ragidy Ann doll. I was sewed onto Mary’s bow in her hair. The little girl took Mary everywhere. One day she took her to the park. That is where she lost me. She never came back for me, but someone did. His name was Jack. Jack was a very nice man. He took me to his clothing store and made me young again. He made me shinier and happier. Jack took me and sewed me onto a beautiful gown. I was so glad that he found me and made me into this. The day after he put me in the store window, I came down. He handed me to this lovely lady and she tried me on. She loved me and took me home. She was a young lady, and seemed to have great taste. Picking me of course. When we got back to her house, it seemed like I was here before. The house was big, big like a palace. The young lady reminded me of the girl with the doll that I belonged to, and you know, I think it was.

VILLANOVA GAME

On Monday my dad took be to the Villanova basketball game. They played Fordham. I had never gone to a basketball game before, so it was really exciting for me. They won by 20-30 points. It was different to watch.  They were moving up and down the court so much that it was hard to keep up with the ball.  I have never seen so many three pointers go into the net before.  This was some good bonding time with my dad, and we both really enjoyed it.

The Murder from the sky

Joe Kalibar is a local bird watcher. Everyday he goes on down to the local park, sits on a bench, and watches the birds go by through his binoculars. One Friday afternoon he was looking for his favorite bird, the Blue Jay. He moved his head to the right a little and he passed a man and a woman through the trees. He did not want to be nosey so he turned and looked the other way. Five seconds later he heard a loud squeal. He looked back over at the man and woman, and he saw the man grab the woman, through he to the ground and stab he in several places. He never thought in his wildest dreams that he would see something a bad as that. He couldn’t believe what he had seen. He quickly took out his cell phone, and called the police. He reported…
“Hi I am Joe Kalibar and I just witnessed a murder!”
“Do you see the people now?” said the voice on the other line.
“Yes, Yes I do.”
“Ok now listen closely, I want you to describe the people to me. Ok. We are sending police over now.

As Joe described the people to the woman on the other line, he looked through his binoculars. In the distance Joe heard the sirens of the police car.
“Ok ma’am, the man is starting to run, I have to go!” Joe hung up the phone and started towards the forest.
“Wait sir don’t hang up! Sir…Sir.. Sir!” The woman screamed into the phone.
Joe was on the move. He rushed after the man, but the man had a head start. When the police arrived Joe and them chased after the man through the forest and through town. The man went across the street and did not ee the oncoming cat. He was hit by a reckless driver. Both, the man and the driver were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The police drove Joe back to the park to pick up his belongings. When they got there, there were all sorts of people. There were Investigators, Police, FBI, and park rangers. The Investigators studied the woman’s dead body.

A few das had gone by and Joe was getting all sorts of complements from everyone. People that he knew and people that were complete strangers to him. On Sunday morning he got his daily paper. On the front cover the heading said “ Local Bird Watcher saves the day!” Joe was proud of himself. He started to read the article, then he got the full understanding of what happened that day. The man’s name was Mike Lamburg. The woman’s name was Carrie Small. She was not from the area. These two people were both married but had gotten a davocorce. They got the divorce because Carrrie (Mother of three) went anorexic. She went anorexic because she thought she was to fat to get into a job that she really wantded, so she wanted to loose a few pounds. When Mike killed her he was drunk. He had no idea what he was doing. Mike cam out of the hospital with a full recovery from the accident, but he is going to serve lifetime in jail for the murder. So, What started out as being a great Friday afternoon, turned out to be a wild goose chase. Joe was proud of what he did.

It glows in the dark
Warms you up when you are cold

I have nothing to talk about.  Nothing exciting is going on today.  I think it is going to be pretty low key.

The 2008 Presidential Election

This morning I found out who our new president was.  His name is Barack Obama.  He is the first African American president of the United States.  Barack Obama had 364 votes and John McCain had   163.  McCain needed 270 more votes to win the 201 election.  John McCain was only 2 percentage points away from Obama in the popular vote.

Halloween

This halloween I went trick or treating with my friends Katie and Gretchen.  I was a Phillies foam finger.  It was really cool.  I spray painted this foam board red and then cut out a #1 foam hand.  Then I painted the fingers onto the red board white.  After that I tied string on it and hung it around my neck. I got so many complements on Halloween night.
I also got 5.8 pounds of candy.  I am never going to eat it all!!!
